Six new subspecies of Colias nastes BOISDUVAL, 1832, all endemic to disjunct areas of highland and alpine tundra, distributed throughout the mountainous massifs of Western Canada, are described: Colias nastes donjek ssp. n., Colias nastes kwanlindun ssp. n., Colias nastes muskwa ssp. n., Colias nastes nlakapamux ssp. n., Colias nastes ogilviensis ssp. n., and Colias nastes tagish ssp. n. The current study completes the pattern of occurrence of C. nastes in the Nearctic realm.

Quality of life is a fundamental measure that is commonly evaluated worldwide. This is especially occurring in the emerging economies such as Colombia where it has become a very important issue in the last ten years. This research attempts to develop a measurement of the Quality of Life (QOL) perceived by the citizens of one of the largest cities of Colombia. Quality of life factors that are critical to the community were explored and evaluated using a multivariate model. This paper seeks to identify the factors that may contribute to the existing quality of life research in third-world economies such as Colombia where a fifty-year conflict war with rebels ended less than a decade ago. Through a rigorous statistical analysis, researchers found that variables such as political environment, security, and crime affect significantly the predictive power of quality of life

The present paper is aimed to a brief ecological study on three species (S1, S2, S3) neutralism with mortality rates. Here all the three species posses limited resources. Neutralism is an absence of any interaction between members of a mixed population. i.e, The species may be living side by side but are unaware of each other and also cause no harm or nor beneficial to each other. A real life example is certain plant species, bacteria, animal species which do not affect each other. The model equations of the system constitute a set of three first order non-linear simultaneous differential equations. Criteria for the asymptotic stability of all the eight critical points are established. The system would be stable if all the characteristic roots are negative, in case they are real, and have negative real parts, in case they are complex.
