Isotonic and isometric contractions, inherent to Resistance Training, have different magnitudes and patterns. The acute effects produced by performing each one are distinct and also impacts on performance. This study aimed to analyze the impact and variability of kinetic parameters between isotonic and isometric contractions performed until fatigue during leg extension exercise at different angular velocities. Seventeen participants performed 3 trials of evaluation in which the force production patterns were assessed: i) force production patterns were assessed without fatigue; ii) induced fatigue via isotonic contractions (F-CE) and iii) induced fatigue via isometric contractions (F-ISO). Significant torque differences were noted at 180º/s (p = 0.034) between baseline (98.2 ± 21.4N-m) and F-CE (86.2 ± 18.9N-m) and at 60º/s (p < .001) between baseline (130.0 ± 31.1N-m) and FCE (121.0 ± 23.9N-m). Power declined significantly (p < .001) from baseline (242.0 ± 83.2W) to F-ISO (200.0 ± 67.0W). Work differences at 180º/s showed baseline (110.0 ± 23.1J) reductions for F-CE (94.6 ± 18.5J, p = 0.035) and F-ISO (100.0 ± 19.2J, p < .001). At 60º/s, baseline (140.0 ± 30.9 J) values dropped for F-CE (134.0 ± 22.8J, p < .001) and F-ISO (136.0 ± 26.3J, p = 0.016). Significant F-CE/F-ISO differences were identified at 60º/s (F = 48.1, p < .001, η2P = 0.750). It suggests that isotonic contractions have a higher effect in torque, while isometric contractions have an impact power capacity more during exercise.

Technique is a crucial factor in sports performance, particularly in inline speed skating. The main objective of this study is to analyze and compare behavioral patterns in two types of track curves: (i) curves with straight or direct inclination and (ii) curves with parabolic inclination. The study will focus on male skaters at the national and international levels, whose lap times in a flying start do not exceed 17 seconds. To conduct the research, an observation system will be developed, refined with expert input, and validated by experienced trainers. The methodology will include high-resolution video recordings and biomechanical analyses to assess the system's efficiency and practical applicability. Additionally, the developed system will be designed to be both accessible and adaptable, ensuring seamless integration into coaches' daily training routines. Three cameras will be used to capture video footage of the second curve in a 200-meter race. The expected results aim to identify technical differences and similarities between the two types of curves, providing precise and valuable data to optimize technical training. Through this study, we seek to rigorously and systematically establish the differences in skaters' performance across the different tracks curves.

Time dependent density functional (TD-DFT) calculations were performed on 1,3-benzoxazole and substituted benzoxazoles using the B3LYP functional and the 6-311++g(d,p) basis sets. The geometry of the S0 and S1 singlet ground and excited states were optimized in gas phase using B3LYP/6-311++g(d) method, and the vertical π → π* absorption largest wavelength transitions were determined. In the ground state from optimized geometries obtained frontier orbitals. Several global molecular descriptors were considered such as the, hardness, chemical potential, electronegativity and the dipole moment for each molecule and was determined the influence that has, about the values of these descriptors, the alteration of the main molecular chain of an initial structure. In addition, non-linear optical properties are calculated and interpreted.

The aim of the paper is to study the oscillation behaviour for third-order differential equations with several delays and with p-Laplacian operator. Our technique bases essentially on the presentation of sharper estimates of positive solutions of the equation studied using an iterative method. What is more, the iterative nature of the new criteria allows us to check for oscillation of all solutions, even if the known findings relevant to this fail to apply.

The supremacy of information technology can be yoked to improve the supply chain for better firm performance (operational and financial). To address the performance apprehension, this study illustrates the role of information sharing (IS) in firm performance (FP) in highly uncertain, volatile, and complex environment. The unique aspect of this study is to investigate the moderated mediation of HR practices for the interplay of information sharing and supply chain performance to ultimately boost the level of firm performance. To carry out this research, we collected the data through questionnaire from 293 SMEs in different sectors across Pakistan. Structure Equation Modelling (SEM) was employed using AMOS for the purpose of data analysis regarding direct, indirect, and moderated mediation effect of selected variables. The results demonstrated the significant direct and indirect association of IS, SCI and FP (operational and financial both). Moreover, the findings of this research show that rewards alignment plays a significant positive moderating effect between information sharing and supply chain integration while training has a non-significant moderating effect. This research is an endeavour to suggest the firm about the mechanism of IS and SCI for better performance in the context of Pakistan.

In this study cross sections of the (74Se(p,g)75Br, 89Y(p,g)90Zr, 90Zr(p,g)91Nb, 93Ru(p,g)94Mo, 96Ru(p,g)97Rh, 98Mo(p,g)99Tc, 104Pd(p,g)105Ag, 112Sn(p,g)113Sb, 120Te(p,g)121I) have been calculated. In these theoretical calculations, the TALYS 1.8 and NON-SMOKER codes were used. In addition, the astrophysical S-factor values for these reactions were calculated using the TALYS 1.8 code. Semi-empirical formula was obtained using atomic number and S-factor values of target nuclei, compatibility of experimental data with theoretical calculations are shown in the figures.

In the last decades, the investigations on the DNA-drugs interactions have attracted increasing attention. This study aims to evaluate the role of the linker histone (H1) in the binding interaction between an antineoplastic drug, named ambochlorin (Amb), and calf thymus DNA (ctDNA). The spectroscopic analysis revealed that although the Amb was strongly bound to both ctDNA and ctDNA-H1, it showed a greater tendency to the ctDNA in the presence of the linker histone. It was shown that the fluorescence spectra of the Amb were quenched in the presence of both ctDNA and ctDNA-H1 and all the quenching processes were governed by a dynamic mechanism. The obtained thermodynamic parameters revealed that both the Amb-ctDNA and Amb-ctDNA-H1 interactions were spontaneous, endothermic and entropy-favoured. The hydrophobic interactions played the main role in the formation and stabilization of the Amb-ctDNA and Amb-ctDNA-H1 complexes. The results obtained from the fluorescence competition experiments, thermal denaturation, CD spectroscopy studies, and comparing the ligand tendency toward the native and denatured ctDNA were entirely consistent. It was found that the Amb interacted with the ctDNA through grooves in the absence or presence of the linker histone, and this finding was further confirmed by the viscosity experiments. It was also indicated that the Amb did not stabilize or induce considerable conformational changes in the ctDNA and ctDNA-H1 complex upon binding. The analysis of the stopped-flow circular dichroism results revealed that the binding process of the Amb-ctDNA and Amb-ctDNA-H1 required a time more than 150 milliseconds to complete. Moreover, the Amb-ctDNA complex formation was marginally decelerated in the presence of the linker histone. In silico molecular docking results, which were in good agreement with the experimental data, confirmed that the Amb was bound to the double helical ctDNA and ctDNA-H1 via ctDNA grooves. The docking results suggested that the presence of the linker histone may alter the binding sites of the Amb from ctDNA minor grooves to major grooves. In summary, we conclude that some binding properties of the interactions between the Amb and ctDNA change in the presence of the linker histone.

Ozone concentration inside industrial irradiators is considered one of the important safety aspects due to its harm effects upon human and its corrosive effects upon metal parts inside irradiation room. Using ozone monogram method to measure the ozone concentration and the phases of ozone concentrations were determined. using MATLB software to calculate the response of ozone concentration with air change rate inside irradiation room, volume of radiation room and source activity. And the time for motor malfunction with flow rate is zero was estimated.

Introduction: Uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) is a well-recognized etiological agent of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) however, what aggrieve researchers even more is its multidrug-resistance. This study aimed to analyse the antimicrobial resistance, serotypes, and phylogenetic groups among UPECs isolated from in and outpatients with Urinary tract infections (UTIs) in a University based teaching hospital. Methods: One hundred and two UPEC isolated and identified by conventional microbial and biochemical methods were processed for their antibiotic susceptibility profile by the disk agar diffusion method. All isolates were subjected to phylogenetic typing and serotyping using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results: All UPEC isolates revealed susceptibility towards imipenem while, majority (78.4%) of them were resistant to cefotaxime and ceftazidime. Overall, serotype O25 was the most common identified serogroup. Phylogenetic groups B2 and D/E were the dominant lineage. Antibiotic resistance was significantly high in group B2 and serogroups O25/O15 compared to other groups. Conclusion: The antibiotic resistance pattern presented may have potential application in designing UTI treatment strategies. The results of the study revealed that UPEC isolates in our investigation belong to mainly B2 and D/E phylogroups and serotype O25. The spread of these clones should be monitored closely as antibiotic resistance was significantly high in these groups.

In this paper, we investigate the degree of approximation for functions belonging to a weighted function class through the application of Matrix–Euler product summability means to their Fourier series. The study focuses on establishing bounds for the approximation error of partial sums, where convergence behaviour is examined under appropriate weight conditions. By employing Matrix–Euler summability techniques, we derive analytical criteria that characterize the rate of approximation in terms of weighted norms, thereby generalizing existing results based on classical summability methods. Furthermore, the paper demonstrates that the adoption of a Matrix–Euler framework provides an effective tool for improving approximation in cases where ordinary convergence fails or becomes insufficient. The results contribute to the broader theory of function approximation and offer a deeper understanding of the role of weighted classes in Fourier approximation processes.

The main aim of this paper is the answer to the question about the level of human capital of employees employed in the Arctic, with particular emphasis on the “desire to avoid failure” and “need for achievement” and the identification of factors determining belonging to these two groups. The article analyses the striving for achievements (in the form of willingness to run their own business), the desire to achieve high wages and tendencies to stabilize professional life at the cost of lower income. Empirical analyses were based on a survey carried out as part of the Socio-Cultural Portrait of the Region (the equivalent of the Polish project The Social Diagnosis). This is a representative study based on more than 3300 respondents. Classification trees (CHAID method) were used to achieve the assumed goal. Most of the respondents stated that they prefer to have less pay in favour of job security or of more free time. They are guided by “desire to avoid failure”. The most important factor determining the optimal workplace was age. To have subordinates was vital for the young. In the case of middle-aged people, education degree was the decisive factor, and in the oldest the most important was gender. If this is the case, various kinds of pro-social and charity activities are of great im-portance, which are designed to raise the need for achievement in people, show that success is possible. The role of education, of young people is important. Its task should be to convince young people that they are able to achieve success. It was confirmed that the factors differentiating the approach to the risk related to running one's own business are age, gender, level of education, type of enterprise in which the respondent works, number of subordinates, but also (to some extent) dependence on local government or trade unions membership. This is a novelty that has not been studied on this scale before. What is exceptional, both the specificity of the Arctic and post-socialism were taken into account.

Finding sustainable alternative fuel to substitute fossil fuel is a research area of interest for most organizations and societies. Such alternative energy should keep the balance between emissions improvement and diesel engine performance. Water diesel (W/D) emulsion fuel is considered as an auspicious alternative fuel that can enhance diesel engine performance and lower harmful exhaust emissions. As per the available experimental findings in the literature, this review critically discusses the W/D emulsion production methods (with and without nanoparticles addition) and the effect of the obtained blend on diesel engine performance and emission characteristics. The review also highlights the concept of water diesel emulsion fuel, surfactant, and Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance value (HLB). The types of emulsion, water emulsion mixing technology, and micro-explosion phenomena were also discussed. As per the performed literature survey, most of the researchers suggested a remarkable improvement of the environmental footprint when W/D is used to reduce PM, and NOX. However, other studies criticize the increase in CO and HC emissions. Such debate has not been found in nanoparticles incorporation, where researchers agreed about the improvement of emissions. Therefore, incorporation of nanoparticles with W/D emulsion has also received much attention recently.
